“Hi! I’m Bridget and I come from Australia. I am currently one month into a three month stay at a language school in Antibes called Centre International D´Antibes.
So far the experience has been really great. Antibes is in a really great location in the South of France and is so close to a whole host of other towns and cities like Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Grasse, etc. This means that it’s very easy to go exploring and you have a huge range of different things to do like discovering historic towns, shopping, clubbing, going to the beach or just eating the wonderful French cuisine (crêpes are my personal favourite). The past few weeks it has been Carnaval in Nice so I’ve been visiting on the weekend. It’s lots of fun with a huge parade and heaps of people.
Living in Antibes is really lovely. Staying in a residence with other students is so much fun, I’ve already made tonnes of new friends and there’s always someone around to grab a coffee or see a movie when you want to. I really like Antibes, particularly the old town near the port. It’s a beautiful area with plenty of little shops, restaurants, bars and incredible views of the water and the Alps.
I have been having such a good time and I am so looking forward to the next two months!
