Red Nose Day at LAL Torbay
It’s not all hard learning at LAL Torbay – our staff and students got together to raise 230 pounds for charity in a day of fun.
13th March 2009 was Red Nose Day in England, when the country raises money for the Comic Relief charity.
This year our staff dressed up with a theme of uniforms and work-wear, and lots of students dresses up in red clothes or fancy dress. Throughout the day we had fun competitions, including “Guess whose nose”, a raffle and a cake sale. One of our students organised two rounds of ‘Musical Chairs’.
Of course, rubber Red Noses, sold in aid of Comic Relief, proved very popular, both to wear and as souvenirs.
